What to say, what to say... between school and doing the two Rising Stars of Manga competitions, it's not hard to believe that this one took so stupidly long to finish. But doing those competitions REALLY improved my manga drawing ability, so I'm sooo grateful for that! I think my drawing overall has improved, I'm finding certain things that I used to have trouble with now becomming easier to draw. I do still have trouble with linear perspective though *sigh* Sometimes figure proportions are hard too, and getting Miyabi's hair to look right is a challenge. x_x I've also noticed a huge change in style from the beginning of TWTYH until now. Some of you have wondered what influences my art the most, and that would be the works of Hiroyuki Asada *worship* He is my favorite mangaka, I've been obsessed with his manga "I'll" for about four years. My style has developed into sort of a clone of his, although his is still MUCH cooler than mine ^^;
Speaking of Miyabi, he's not always a little hellion... I decided to end with Miyabi about to tell Toshio his dream to illustrate this. He's got a lot of pride, so... this is a good first step for him! ^^;
Thanks sooooooo much for all the art and emails you guys send me! I LOVE hearing from my readers and completely appreciate all the support you give me! ^___^ It makes me want to work really hard to bring you more pages of TWTYH! Thanks so much for sticking with the story thus far, I have so much more planned in the upcoming pages, and far into the future of TWTYH! The story's really only just begun... it's just gonna get deeper and cooler from here ^_^
