Track 13 was just incredibly fun to draw... everything about it! Well, except for maybe the first scene. That was kind of infuriating. I really don't like Shuya's parents. Blaarg. But I'm happy with the way Shuya and Musashi handled it and ultimately how they left that scene, I think it's rather justified. They're so much better without the negative influences of Shu's parents in their lives anyway! Conversely, I loved being able to show how much Musashi's parents supported the situation. Different types of parents, different ways of handling things... one of my favorite things about creating this story is being able to express individual differences like what we're all familiar with in the real world. At least, I hope I'm doing an accurate job! ^_^;

The ~PHANTASM~ concert scene and all that happened during it is one of my favorites in the entire comic! For one thing, I've missed those ~PHANTASM~ boys like crazy! It was so fun to draw them again, and I always enjoy concert scenes no matter who's on stage. Aside from that, I LOVE that Miyabi began to finally realize that Yumi isn't all bad and that maybe he shouldn't have been such a jerk to her in the past. (I know, he's a bit slow... >->) And her outfit? Yeah, we all saw him staring. He's so into that look, and it drives him crazy. I just thought it was adorable how he purposely spoke quietly his feelings of remorse, and then later how he claimed to have a sore throat... XD Oh! And Minako and Atsuko were introduced!! And Sayaka learned of Kazuki's feelings through the song he wrote!! *squee* And I have to admit, my geek was showing when I drew Musashi playing Initial D. Gotta love Initial D. ^_~

Speaking of Kazuki and Sayaka, they got together like BLAM POW fast. I know this. But it works, you know? They've known each other for years, and let's face it, girls... if some cute guy wrote a song for you, and if you had a crush on someone else who was already taken, how could you not just go for it? That's what I love about them, they just went for it. Definitely the fastest couple in some ways, but when you consider how long they've known each other before pursuing anything romantic, it isn't fast at all. Sayaka mentioned how she never imagined them together before, but sometimes that's just the way romance works. You can't really predict how and when it'll happen! So there's another type of couple to add to the mix in TWTYH. What a great addition. ^_^

You begin to get a sense of how the boys have become busy with Orochi in track 13, and I want to expand upon that in subsequent chapters. Same goes for Miyabi and Yumi's budding friendship (and Miyabi's "IT'S NOT A CRUSH!!!" mentality). Should be insanely fun... *evil cackle* So I hope everyone looks forward to track 14!
